The 1920s was called “roaring” because of the exuberant, freewheeling popular culture of the decade. The Roaring Twenties was a time when many people defied Prohibition, indulged in new styles of dancing and dressing, and rejected many traditional standards of the era. The Fashion trends were the shorter, low-waisted dresses and revealing styles worn by the Flappers, the ‘bobbed’ hairstyles, cloche hats, the casual, haphazard fashion of a mixture of brightly colored clothes, scarves and stockings with bold, striking Art Deco geometric designs
So feel free to dress up !!! ( not required).and our live music is the incredible local band GINGERFUNK ALLSTARS!

The New Sumerians are a local Americana rock band, featuring Flint Hill’s own Howie Weingarten on guitars and vocals. Enjoy an eclectic mix of original music and innovative covers, including Bob Dylan, The Kinks, Bruce Cockburn, Stephen Stills and more! The band recently released their first EP (recorded and produced in Flint Hill!), cleverly named “the New Sumerians”, available on Spotify and other streaming services. Great listening and dancing music!”
